Kaung Myat co-founded The Space architectural firm with his roommate back in 2016 when he was studying and practicing Architecture at Shinawatra University in Thailand. Having completed some projects back in their hometown Yangon, The Space architectural firm could finally step a foot in Yangon.

After pursuing a degree, Kaung Myat worked for Unexpected design firm based in Bangkok where he had to design starting from the scratch till completion using software such as illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup3d modeling, Vray rendering.

Kaung Myat came back to Yangon in 2017 and did his own studio turning his living space completely in a studio where he could practice and test out his new ideas. There he combines his international exposure and practices with his dedication and passion providing the best services to the studio.
