MOPA Design is Architectural Interior Design consultation & supervision Team from Myanmar.

MOPA Design was created by Aung Soe Paing and Kyaw Moe Wai while they were working in Singapore. After they stayed and worked for nearly decade in Singapore, they began to provide Architecture and Interior Design services in Myanmar.

Aung Soe Paing studied Interior Design in Lasalle, College of the Arts and started working in Surbana International Consultants in Singapore. Architecture is the most interesting subject and he learned architectural design under the guidance of scholar and the most talented senior architects, Paul Chang and Devedran Krishnamoorthy. He involved in various projects, such as Sky Villa Luxury Apartment in Dubai, Master planning for Malikha Housing Development in Myanmar, Penang Waterfront City in Malaysia, Beh’s Residence in Malaysia, Hilton Hotel, Al Ain at UAE, Adnex Hotel in UAE. He also involved in Architectural Interior Design project development for Singapore largest developer Far East Organization’s show flats and sale galleries in Singapore as well as Malaysia’s leading property developer , S P Setia Bhd Group.

Kyaw Moe Wai studied Interior Design in BCA Academy in Singapore and joined Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) where he learnt his excellence creative skill and detailing for luxurious hospitality design. He worked under the guidance of talented great interior designer Zalika Samsudin and involved in five stars hospitality projects, such as Four Seasons Hotel in Shenzhen, Marriot Hotel and Carlton Hotel in Singapore, Raffle Ciputra World Premium Residence in Jakarta. He have excellence taste of decorative art works and very fine luxury finishes.

They founded Yangon, School of Interior Design in Myanmar, filling the blank of Interior Design Education for younger generation since 2012. School was more focus on Concept design and collaboration with other designers and artists.

MOPA Design is a full service architectural interior design firm offering space planning, production of decorative artworks and project managements services. They also designed Chinatown Best Western Hotel, Best Western Green Hill Hotel Renovation, Thuriza Hotel (Naypyitaw), Starlight Warehouse and Office ,D Spa. They also designed the famous fashion designer Mogoke Pauk Pauk’s Acheik Exhibition (2013).
